Sleepy Eye Healthcare Foundation

The Sleepy Eye Healthcare Foundation is a 501-C-3 organization that can accept tax-deductible donations for the Sleepy Eye Medical Center. The foundation’s first major project was the Capital Campaign which raised more than $550,000 in community contributions for the medical center building and renovation project—approximately 10% of the project cost!

Donations are encouraged and most appreciated. The financial support of our generous donors is very important in helping us provide the healthcare excellence which our community expects and deserves.

Our current annual fundraising campaign asks for support for renovation of patient rooms. This would include aesthetically updating rooms as well as making an existing patient room into a second room for obstetrical patients.

"We have seen an increase in our obstetrical patients in the past few years, and want to grow as a facility to continue to provide these patients with the most pleasing, comfortable environment as possible," said Sellheim.

Gifts of $1,000 or more - these can be gift totals that accumulate over time - are recognized on our Donor Honor Wall located in the main corridor leading from the entrance lobby to the hospital.
